Power and control

Performance and handling are two halves of the RS whole. A lightning-fast eight-speed tiptronic harnesses the power which goes down to the black top through Audi’s revolutionary quattro permanent all-wheel drive with sport differential. The Audi Drive select dynamic handling system allows the driver even greater control of key performance characteristics while the RS sport suspension provides a sublime ride surefooted feel. Customers can elicit ever greater directional stability with the addition of the optional RS sport suspension plus with Dynamic Ride Control (DRC).

Performance personified

The Audi RS 5 Sportback captivates from every angle with its unique combination of performance design elements and sweeping, coupé-like, sport roofline. Flanked by large air intakes and the distinctive headlights, the wide, flat Singleframe grille with 3D honeycomb finish dominates the front end and adds to the strong, low stance of the car. The sculptured rear, with its RS-specific diffuser and subtle rear deck spoiler, serves its own practical purpose while heightening the sense of dynamism. The characteristic oval tailpipes of the RS exhaust system are another telltale sign of the car’s potential, while new 20-inch alloy wheels finished in matt bronze are available as an option to add yet another distinctive design element.

Command centre

The highest levels of finish and the finest materials have been employed to create an interior in the Audi RS 5 Sportback that is both luxurious and inherently sporty. Sports seating provides supreme comfort and support, while the optional RS design package in red with fine Nappa leather and the distinctive honeycomb pattern add an even more dynamic element to the stunning interior – the black Alcantara with contrasting stitching in crescendo red adorn the multi-function steering wheel, and the gear selector provides both a visual and tactile element. Systems like the Audi virtual cockpit with RS-specific menus seamlessly integrate state-of-the-art technology to the beautifully finished cabin.
