Powered by a superb 3.0-litre V6 TDI engine mated to a fast-changing eight-speed tiptronic transmission, the SQ5 Sportback sprints from 0 to 100km/h in just 5.1 seconds. The surefooted feel of the quattro permanent all-wheel drive evident in all conditions and, working in tandem with S sport suspension with adaptive dampers delivering an optimal combination of carefully controlled ride with razor-sharp handling.

OLED rear lights with specific rear light signature

The SQ5 Sportback gives customers the option of selecting OLED lighting technology for the vehicle’s rear lights which introduces previously unimaginable flexibility and functionality. With the OLEDs (organic light emitting diodes) grouped into small, individually controllable segments, the resultant light arrangement is both distinctive and tailorable, the character of the tail light signature changing depending on the driving mode.

Superior light quality for greater visibility, the OLED rear-light cluster is also equipped with proximity detection which lights up in warning for even greater safety should another vehicle approach to within two metres of the SQ5 Sportback when stationary.
