The Audi S5 Sportback

The character of cultivated sportiness extends to the Audi S5 Sportback - offering plenty of space, powerful performance, and an exciting play of light and shadow as part of the S-specific elements - the exterior design of the S5 are embedded in the progressive Audi design language.

Visible sportiness – the design

Standard S-specific elements on the Audi S5 Sportback underscore its luxury sportscar design: S bumpers, the radiator grille with honeycomb design in matt titanium black with inserts in matt aluminium silver, wide air inlets in the frame and blade in matt aluminium silver at the front. At the sides, there are the impressive 20-inch alloy wheels as well as exterior mirror housings in aluminium look and the illuminated door sill trims with S emblem at the front. Emphasising the width of the rear are the horizontal trims in matt aluminium silver surrounding the S diffuser, the S-specific twin tailpipes in chrome and the S rear spoiler.

Illumination at its finest

Matrix LED headlights are now standard in the Audi S5 Sportback. These are also available with Audi laser light. Audi laser light supplements the LED high beam at high vehicle speeds by almost doubling the visual range. Dynamic light sequencing of the Coming home and Leaving home animation and front dynamic indicators are also included in this option. 

Dynamic – also in the interior

The interior of the Audi S5 Sportback features fascinating S-specific elements. A perfect synergy between practicality and performance, the horizontal design elements, and selection of high quality materials create a unique sense of space. S sport front seats, standard inlays in matt brushed aluminium and the leather steering wheel in 3-spoke design with multifunction plus, S emblem and contrasting stitching underpin the impressively sporty interior.

Fully-connected and in focus

Operate the infotainment in the Audi S5 Sportback intuitively using the 10.1-inch MMI touch display or natural language interaction with the MMI navigation plus and MMI touch. The Audi virtual cockpit plus brings the information most important to the driver into view on its clearly structured 12.3-inch full HD display, with custom operation, intuitive menu navigation and driver-oriented display. The S-specific design puts the vehicle’s rev counter centre stage.

Powerful Drive

With its 3.0 TFSI V6 engine with 260 kW and maximum torque of 500 Nm, the Audi S5 Sportback provides for strong off-the-line performance. The driving sensation is enhanced by the quattro permanent all-wheel drive with an optional sport differential, which distributes drive torque actively and variably between the axles. The optional dynamic steering always adjusts the vehicle’s steering ratio and steering power to the vehicle speed. Audi drive select offers dynamic, comfort, auto, individual and efficiency modes meaning you can adjust the driving style at any time.
